The Chai Tattle - 6th July 2026

The start of the trading week saw bulls trading across the breadth of the market if not with a lot of depth as most of the trading was not concentrated in large cap stocks - which seemed to be in driving force for the majority of last years bull run.

The market was also liquid - especially in the mid and small cap segments signifying that investors are taking positions on the market.

The return profile is visually more concentrated in the right-hand side with the tail segment on the right skew a lot fatter than the one on the left side.
