The market closed on a damper unable to cover the losses on the first day of the trading week.

Trading week started pretty much like last week with a record drop that led to trading being halted on the exchange as investors dropped their positions that they picked up on the last day of trading last week.
There is a plethora of insecurity in the market but more importantly informational blindness as it is unclear how the blockage on the Strait of Hormuz can be navigated from a trading perspective by countries that are not in the region, and which is bound to have massive inflationary effects that will trickle down.
