More than 60% of the traded equities were in the green at close which also pushed the benchmark and broad market index up by respectable amounts. Liquidity also stayed in the mid to high 70s which has been a good indicator of investor participation. 

The positive skewness and its scale can be seen in the graphs below with 3 columns going above the 50 line.

Trading in the financial sector was excessively deep and overall volume stayed at par from yesterday.
