Mid Cap equities had bullish performance on the market today today that notched up the broadmarket index close to the 97k mark, an all time high, as the benchmark index, KSE100 also closed at a record high, just 47 points short of the 158k value. Volume metrics tore though historical averages, recent and long term with more then 1.95bn shares trading hands.
Market liquidity was high in equities but those by design had bullish momentum but liquidity was low on equities where investors did not see a positive price shift.
The energy sector commanded a significant portion of investor engagement on the back of CNERGY trading over 200mn shares.
