The benchmark index closed more than 5k points down, being more than 6k points down at one point, while the broad market index closed more than 3k points in the red. This marked the third week where the first trading day had an overwhelmingly bearish outcome.
Skewness as expected is negatively skewed with a lot of the selling pressure that focused on large cap stocks.
