Another bonkers day on the stock exchange with crazy volatility where the benchmark index rose more than 9k points even though overall activity on the market reduced by more than 129mn shares. This was seen in the number of trades as well which were north of 250k showing that broader investors are staying away from the market, but enough investors tried to buy the dip pushing prices up across the market.
The delta distribution was overwhelmingly positive with mean delta for gains above 7.6% while for declines it was below -3.5%.
